Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaskHost hosting services provided by SaskSoftware. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

SaskHost provides Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting and shared web hosting services. Services are delivered through our self-hosted infrastructure and managed via our online control panel at host.sasksoftware.in.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account without prior approval.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use our services for:

• Any illegal activities under Indian law or international law.
• Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious software.
• Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam).
• Hosting phishing websites or fraudulent content.
• Cryptocurrency mining without prior written approval.
• Excessive resource usage that affects other customers (shared hosting).
• Any activity that violates intellectual property rights.

4. Payment and Billing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to 18% GST.
• Payment is required before service activation.
• We accept payments via PayPal (USD) and our active INR payment gateway (UPI, cards, netbanking) shown at checkout.
• GST invoices are auto-generated for all transactions.
• Services will be suspended if payment is not received by the due date.
• Suspended accounts may be terminated after 7 days of non-payment.

5. Service Level

• We target 99.9% uptime for all hosting services.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
• We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control (force majeure, upstream network issues, power outages).

6. Backups

We provide automated backups as a convenience feature. However, you are ultimately responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for any data loss.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Engage in activities harmful to our infrastructure or other customers.
• Have outstanding unpaid invoices beyond the grace period.

8. Limitation of Liability

SaskHost's total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
